Should I go for performance or for theory? 

Theory is a v. imp building block for performance,
and apparently I have devoted too little time here throughout the years.
I am really not confident enough to write the programme notes.

Do I have the time and motivation to pursue both?

What should I be aspiring for?

More fundamentally, am I in the position to take on this challenge?
